A November 2025 drug investigation has resulted in a prison sentence for a Frederick County man.
On Thursday, Frederick County Circuit Court sentenced 29-year-old Axel Angulo-Llactas to 20 years in prison, suspending all but five years, after he pleaded guilty in May to possession of drugs. He remained held without bond following his arrest.
The charges stemmed from a search warrant executed by Frederick Police and the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office at a residence on Partners Court on November 25, 2025. During the search, officers found more than 1,000 grams of cocaine inside a safe in his bedroom, along with other items.
