A Kearneysville, West Virginia man has been sentenced to 150 months — or 12-and-a-half years — in federal prison after a traffic stop in Martinsburg led to the seizure of large quantities of narcotics and a handgun.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of West Virginia, 45-year-old Bradley Allen Wilt was stopped while transporting drugs. Officers seized 63 grams of cocaine, 169 grams of cocaine base, 282 grams of fentanyl and 12 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride.
A .45-caliber handgun also was recovered from the vehicle.
Wilt pleaded guilty earlier this year to possessing cocaine base with intent to distribute and possessing a firearm in relation to his drug offense. He was sentenced this week by U.S. District Judge Gina M. Groh.
The case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and West Virginia State Police.
