A two-story home in Myersville was heavily damaged by fire early Thursday morning.
Frederick County Fire and Rescue crews were called to the 3900 block of Wistman Lane around 12:35 a.m. and arrived to find the single-family home well involved in flames.
A Tanker Task Force was requested to bring additional water and manpower to the scene. The fire caused portions of the side and rear of the home to collapse.
All occupants were able to get out of the house. Two adults were evaluated by EMS, and the Red Cross was requested to assist them.
Firefighters had the blaze under control by approximately 1:11 a.m. The Fire Marshal’s office responded to investigate the incident and determine the cause.
