Leesburg Police have charged a second person in connection with an August 21 shooting that injured an adult man on Fort Evans Road NE.
Police say 19-year-old Isaac A. Hernandez of Aldie faces charges including aggravated malicious wounding, attempted malicious wounding, conspiracy to commit a felony, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and several counts of shooting in a public place.
Hernandez is being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center. His arrest follows the earlier arrest of a juvenile in the case.
The victim was shot in the leg and has since been released from the hospital. The investigation remains active.
