A Harpers Ferry woman is facing murder and arson charges nearly a year after a fire killed her husband and daughter.
West Virginia State Police arrested 55-year-old Nicole Ellen Taylor Tuesday following an investigation into the September 30th, 2025 fire on Blackberry Lane.
Taylor escaped the burning home with serious injuries and was treated at a regional burn center.
Investigators say her husband, 56-year-old Robert Hayne Taylor the Third, and their 21-year-old daughter, Cynthia Allison Taylor, were already dead before the fire. Police say Robert Taylor had been shot several times.
Taylor is charged with first-degree murder, first-degree arson, and using a firearm during a felony. She is being held without bond.
