Flags, patriotism and gratitude will take center stage in downtown Martinsburg next Saturday as the community gathers for its annual Veterans Day Parade.
The 2026 celebration will be held November 7th, beginning at noon, bringing families, veterans and community members together to honor those who have defended our nation. Leading this year’s parade as Grand Marshal is Staff Sergeant Andy Wolfe, with the West Virginia Air National Guard’s 167th Airlift Wing. Wolfe was wounded last year while on patrol in Washington, D.C., and received the Purple Heart. He is also being recognized as a Freedom 250 Hometown Hero.
The parade’s guest of honor is 103-year-old World War Two veteran Corporal Jack Myers, who will sing the National Anthem. Lou Scally will serve as emcee.
