Software Development Company From Bangladesh Setting Up Its First US Presence In Frederick County

It has locations in other countries.

Frederick, Md (KM) A software development company based in Dhaka, Bangladesh will have a presence in Frederick County.   The Office of Economic Development and the Frederick Innovative Technology Center, Incorporated, have announced that Opus Technology Limited has selected the county as its first location in the United States.

The company develops software specializing in custom solutions across mobile apps, gaming, animation, web development and AI. Their solutions are tailored to fit any operating system, browser, or devices.

“Frederick County is dedicated to fostering a dynamic and inclusive environment for businesses and we are thrilled to welcome Opus Technology to our community,” says County Executive Jessica Fitzwater, in a statement.
“Opus Technology’s innovative solutions and commitment to excellence align  with our growing information security and technology sector. We look forward to supporting their growth and success here.”

According to a statement from the County’s Office of Economic Development, Opus’ expansion into the US resulted from the Maryland Global Gateway program. Under this program, the Maryland Department of Commerce helps foreign companies explore the US market. The Company’s location in the US makes it the 12th nation Opus Technology has implemented  projects, and that further expands their worldwide presence.

“With a focus on enterprise solutions and navigating the digital landscape, Opus Technology brings a wealth of knowledge to the Frederick Innovative Technology Center,” says Maryland Secretary of Commerce Harry Coker, Jr, in a statement. “We are pleased to welcome this innovative software development company to Maryland and look forward to growing our relationship with its headquarters in Bangladesh.”

Opus Technology was also assisted by e Frederick Innovative Technology Center, Incorporated, through its “Soft Landing” program. That provides international companies with mentoring  infrastructure  and resources to reduce barriers to entry into the US Market. The company received state funding through the Global Gateway to subsidize the cost of their soft landing through FITCI.
