Three people injured after collision on Leesburg Pike.
Leesburg, VA (JK) – The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a school bus crash that left three people with minor injuries and resulted in a DUI arrest.
Deputies say the Loudoun County Public Schools bus and an SUV collided Wednesday afternoon, September 3, 2025, in the 34,000 block of Leesburg Pike. One adult male was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, while two juveniles were treated on scene.
Investigators determined the SUV driver, identified as 49-year-old Thomas Allen Broomall (pictured above) of Charles Town, West Virginia, was intoxicated at the time of the crash. He was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence. Broomall was transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center and is being held without bond.
