There are only stop signs at the Devilbiss Bridge Road leg of the intersection.
Frederick, Md (KM) Motorists who use the intersection at Devilbiss Bridge Road and Old Frederick Road will notice some changes very soon. Beginning on Wednesday., October 1st, new stop signs will be installed at all four legs of the intersection.
Currently, stops signs are set up at Devilbiss Bridge Road requiring drivers to stop while motorists traveling along Old Frederick Road can go through without stopping.
Fredeeick County officials say a review of the traffic conditions at that intersection have shown that stop signs are needed along Old Frederick Road.
When approaching a four-way stop, the first arriving vehicle can continue after the driver makes a full stop at the stop sign. If more than one vehicle approaches, drivers must yield to the vehicle on the right.
