What began as a small community block party has grown into one of Frederick’s signature festivals, drawing tens of thousands each year. In The Streets transforms Market Street into a celebration of music, food, family fun, and community pride. Over the years, it’s hosted both local favorites and big-name rising stars—Taylor Swift even performed on our streets while still in high school, long before she became a global superstar. Today, it’s a full day of themed blocks, vendors, live entertainment, and the kind of small-town charm that makes Frederick shine.
