But sections of Ijamsville Rd will close for construction work.
Mussetter Road will reopen to traffic starting on Monday, May 23rd, weather permitting, according to the Frederick County Office of Transportation Engineering. The agency also says motorists can use the newly constructed bridge on Ijamsville Road.
But Ijamsville Road between Reichs Ford and Mussetter Roads will be closed for about six weeks for construction activity. A detour will take traffic to Mussetter Road, Old National Pike to Route 144.
The contractor, Kinsley Construction, Inc., will be building up the existing Ijamsville Road to tie into Mussetter Road.
Reichs Ford Road to Ijamsville Road north will be open to traffic.
Emergency personnel and the school system have been notified, according to the Office of Transportation Engineering.
