Police Arrest Two In Robbery Last Friday

They’re charged with robbing the Deliciosa Bakery.

Frederick Police have arrested two suspects for the armed robbery of the Deliciosa Bakery on West Patrick Street last Friday. Benjamin Michael Moats, 33, and Timothy William Vanhall, 33, both of Middletown, are charged with two counts of armed robbery, two counts of robbery, two counts of 2nd-degree assault and one count of theft less than $1,000.

They were taken in to custody in Middletown without incident.

Detectives say that Moats was the man who entered the business with a knife and demanded money. After leaving, he got into a gray pickup truck which was operated by Vanhall.

The investigation into this armed robbery is continuing. Citizens who have information about these men or the robbery are asked to call Frederick Police, and speak with Detective Dewees at 301-600-4110.
