Hagerstown, Md. (KM) A Maugansville man was arrested Thursday night following a traffic stop in Washington County which led to the seizure of a gun and drugs. Randy Green Jr., 22, is charged with felony handgun charges, drug possession (not marijuana), possession of drugs with intent to distribute, theft and illegal possession of ammunition.
State Police in Hagerstown say a purple Audi was pulled over along Crayton Boulevard at around 6:00 PM for having an inoperable left rear light, and a cracked windshield.
As the trooper approached the vehicle, he noticed the driver and a front seat passenger acting suspiciously. Further investigation led to Green’s arrest. He was the front seat passenger.
Green was transported to Washington County Central Booking for processing.
A loaded handgun, and suspected heroin and ecstasy were found in the Audi.
