THURMONT, Md. (DG)- Two Burger King employees were doing more than selling whoppers in Thurmont. Police say they were dealing drugs.
The Thurmont Police Department said they received a complaint about some Burger King employees dealing drugs from the parking lot of the business.
Police say an officer went under cover and started to work at the Burger King. While employed, the police officer made several successful purchases of drugs from two restaurant employees.
The two employees were indicted by a Frederick County Grand Jury and later arrested on September 21st, 2016.
Police say Tommy Miller, 23, of Thurmont, and Jonathan Moser, 28, of Emmittsburg, were both charged with possession of drugs and possession with intent to distribute.
