State Police are continuing their investigation.
Frederick, Md (KM) A Frederick man was killed in a one-vehicle crash in the Mount Pleasant area Thursday morning.
State Police say Chester L. Stone, 52, Jr., of the 4000 block of Reels Mill Road, was driving his Nissan Maxima along Route 26 east of Old Liberty Road shortly before 11:00 AM when he lost control of the vehicle. The Nissan ran off of the northside of Route 26, struck a road sign and then came to rest after striking a tree.
Stone was pronouned dead at the scene. He was the only occupant of the vehicle.
The investigation into this crash continues.
