Frederick, Md (KM) Frederick officials say all sports fields in the city are closed through Sunday, March 19th.

A winter storm came through Frederick city and surrounding communities Monday night through Tuesday, dumping about eight-inches of snow.
Parks and Recreation officials say anyone using a city sports field which has been closed could face penalties. If a permitted field user is found using a closed field, that league may be fined and/or lose permission for the season. If it’s a non-permitted user, a warning and/or citation will be issued.
