Westminster, Md.(LR) The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says the cause of a house fire in Westminster on Thursday morning remains under investigation.
Shortly after 10:30 AM, 80 firefighters responded to a two-story single family dwelling at 1020 Huntfield Road, after a neighbor discovered the fire.
Firefighters spent about an hour and a half bringing the flames under control.
No injuries were reported.
Damage is estimated at $150,000 to the structure and $50,000 to it’s contents.
The fire originated in the upstairs bedroom, according to investigators.
