Twins Charged With Child Pornography Offenses

Investigators found images, pictures on their electronic devices.

 

 

Hampstead, Md (KM) Two Carroll County men are charged with child pornography offenses. State Police say Tyler Curtis, 20,  is charged with four counts each of distribution and possession of child pornography. His twin brother, Matthew Curtis, 20, is charged with four counts of distribution of child pornography.

They were arrested Wednesday morning at their home in 1700 block of Lower Forty Drive in Hampstead.

Investigators  with the State Police Criminal Investigation Enforcement Division who are assigned to the Maryland Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force say they received a cyber-tip in March about an internet user possessing child pornography. Their investigation led to the Curtis’ as suspects.

A search warrant was served on their home, where multiple electronic devices were confiscated. They revealed images and videos of child pornography.

The devices will be submitted to the State Police Digital Forensics Lab for further analysis.
