Thurmont, Md (KM) A Taneytown man faces charges in Frederick County. Thurmont Police on Wednesday evening arrested Michael J. Hansberger, 30. Authorities say he was found to be in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia.
Officers were dispatched at around 8:00 PM to the 7/11 on Frederick Road for a suspicious person. Police say found Hansberger. They say he was escorted out of the carnival earlier in the day due to suspicious activity. He was found to be in possession of drugs, and was taken into custody. He’s charged with two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, and one count each of possession of heroin.
Hansberger was transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center.
