Authorities say the cause & manner of death has yet to be determined.
Frederick, Md (KM) The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office says the human remains found in a shallow grave last month in the City of Frederick Municipal Forest have been identified. The State Medical Examiner’s Office, using DNA examination and comparison, says they are Victor Antonio Turcios-Valle, 37, of Silver Spring.
Authorities say Turcios-Valle was last seen by his family on April 2nd. A missing person’s report was filed with the Montgomery County Police Department.
The manner and cause of death has not yet been determined by the State Medical Examiner’s Office.
Turcios-Valle’s remains were found by a hiker on the evening of June 29th in a wooded area off of Gambrill Park Road north of Coxey Brown Road. Deputies arrived on the scene, and secured the area. A crime scene investigation was begun the next morning.
The investigation is continuing.
