Cumberland, Md (KM) No injuries were reported from a structure fire in Cumberland early Thursday morning.
60 fire fighters were dispatched to 7 and 9 Browning Street at around 12:44 AM. They spent one hour bringing the flames under control from the two-alarm fire. Officials say the fire spread next door to 11 Browning Street.
The occupants of both 9 and 11 Browning Street are being assisted by family and friends.
The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says the fire appears to be accidental, but the exact cause remains under investigation.
The fire originated on the exterior rear porch of 9 Browning Street.
The damage estimate is $150,000 to the structure, and $75,000 to the contents.
