His case will move to Circuit Court where a trial date will be set.
Frederick, Md (KM) A New York man was indicted Friday for a double homicide in Frederick County. The Grand Jury charged, Delajhi Joyner, 24, of the Bronx, with two counts of 1st-degree murder.
Joyner was arrested on November 2nd for the slayings Janelle Brown Naylor, 37, and Jermaine Langley Hill, 19, both of Frederick. . The Sheriff’s Office responded to Acacia Court early in the morning for an assault. Deputies learned that Joyner got into an argument with Naylor and Hill. He allegedly assaulted them, and backed over the two victims with a car. Naylor and Hill were pronounced dead at the scene.
Joyner was taken into custody shortly after deputies arrived.
The vehicle which backed over the two victims was owned by Naylor, authorities say.
Grand Jurors also indicted seven other people:
* Charles Brandon Vaughn, 34, of Frederick, whose charged with home invasion, 3rd-degree burglary and 2nd-degree assault for an incident which occurred on November 4th, 2017.
* Jeremiah William Snyder, 36, of Walkersville, whose charged with attempted 2nd-degree murder, 1st-degree assault and 1st-degree burglary for an incident which occurred on November 9th, 2017.
* Brian Anthony DeSilva, 40, of Frederick, whose charged with 1st-degree assault and 2nd-degree assault, for an incident which occurred on October 11th, 2017.
* Spencer Everett Goodman, 26, of Frederick, whose charged with attempted 2nd-degree murder, 1st-degree assault, 2nd-degree assault and reckless endangerment for an incident which occurred on November 18th, 2017.
* Joseph Hugh Hagelin, 68, of Frederick, whose charged with four counts of sex abuse of a minor and two counts of indecent exposure for a series of events which occurred between April 1st, 2013 to December 31st, 2015.
* Denzel Cortez Leo Randolph, 27, of Frederick, whose charged with three counts of 2nd-degree child abuse for incidents which occurred between October 31st, 2016, to October 1st, 2017.
* Robert Eugene White, 54, of Jefferson, Md., whose charged with 1st-degree assault, 2nd-degree assault and reckless endangerment for an incident which occurred on October 31st, 2017.
The indictments move these cases to Circuit Court where a trial date will be scheduled.
