One person was shot in the leg.
Frederick, Md (KM) One person was flown to an area hospital following a shooting Saturday afternoon.
Frederick Police responded to the first block of Frederick Avenue at around 4:12 PM, and found a female inside a residence with a gunshot wound to her leg. Officers provided assistance until medics arrived at the scene and took over. Authorities say the victim’s injuries are not considered life-threatening.
They also says this appears to be an isolated incident, but the investigation is ongoing, and police say they’re not releasing any further details at this time.
