Frederick, MD (KK) – 793,000 Marylanders will be traveling this weekend, according to AAA Mid-Atlantic. Officials say, before heading out, drivers should check their car for any issues. More than 8,500 drivers will call AAA for help. Have you battery tested, look for engine coolant leaks, make sure your tires are properly inflated.
“If you do break down, try to get your car off the road, turn on the emergency flashers. It’s important to have an emergency kit in your car so that you have those emergency reflectors or flares that you can put out and warn oncoming traffic,” said Christine Delise, spokeswoman for AAA Mid-Atlantic.
More than 36 million Americans will be traveling by car this weekend.
