Water has to be shut off for some residents during the repair.
FREDERICK, MD – The Division of Utilities and Solid Waste Management is currently repairing a water line leak in Point of Rocks, Md. As a result of this situation and to facilitate repairs, water has been turned off for approximately 70 residents on Gibbons Road, Gibbons Court and Wise Road. Repairs are expected to be completed by approximately 2 p.m. today.
When water service is restored, residents are asked to flush and clear their lines for a few minutes before using the water.
