Police say it’s an adult male.
Frederick, Md (KM) The circumstances surrounding a body found Friday night in Carroll Creek are under investigation.
Frederick Police say officers and emergency medical crews responded to the Linear Park west of Court Street at around 10:41 PM after a citizen called in to report an unresponsive person in the water. EMS tried lifesaving efforts on the man. He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities at this time are only identifying this individual as an adult male.
An investigation is underway by Detective David Dewees with Frederick Police in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. .

Monday of last week, police responded to Harmon Park off of Winchester Street where a body was found near the playground area. That person is identified as 51-year-old Kevin Cooper.
