She was elected during last week’s MACO Summer Conference.
Frederick, Md (KM) Frederick County Council Vice President MC Keegan-Ayer has been named President of the Women of MACO. She was elected last week during the Summer Conference of the Maryland Association of Counties. She succeeds Baltimore County Council Member Vicki Almond.
The Women of MACO is a chapter affiliate of MACO, and is made up of female elected and appointed officials from all of the state’s counties and Baltimore City.
As President, Keegan-Ayer will work to promote policies which positively impact women and their families, and encourage more women to participate in the political process, according to a statement issued by the Frederick County Council. .
“I am looking forward to continuing the understanding advocacy on behalf of the women of Maryland that has been established by current President, Baltimore County Council Member Vick Almond,” Keegan-Ayer said in a statement.
