Motorists urged to use an alternate route.
Frederick, Md (KM) East Mountain Road between Route 17 and South Mountain Road will be closed part of next week.
The Frederick County Office of Highway Operations says the road will be closed Monday through Friday starting on October 29th for culvert pipe replacements. The hours of the closure are from 7:00 AM until 4:00 PM each day. These closures are expected to last for three week, weather permitting.
Motorists are asked to use Route 17 and Maryland 180 as alternate ways to get around.
