Six people have been injured.
HAGERSTOWN, MD. (KM) Maryland State Police in Washington County are investigating a multi-vehicle crash along Interstate 70 at Route 85 in the Hagerstown area. Troopers say traffic had slowed in that area due a construction crew doing pothole repairs. An empty passenger bus did not stop, and crashed into stopped traffic.
One person was flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore……..other patients were taken by ambulance to Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown. Authorities say the crash involved three commercial vehicles, and five passenger vehicles. That stretch of I-70 eastbound is expected to be closed for the next few hours.
