She was killed while clearing tree branches by her home
Leesburg, Va. (DG) – A woman died Wednesday after she was hit by a falling tree branch in Leesburg, Virginia.
The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is reporting 52-year-old Melanie Brose was clearing fallen tree branches near her home on Stumptown Rd. when a large branch fell on her.
She was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died.
