Police say she didn’t stop for another vehicle while entering US 15.
Lewistown, Md (KM) A Walkersville woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Lewistown on Tuesday afternoon.
State Police say a Chevrolet Cobalt operated by Doris Janet Kinnamont, 80. was at the intersection of Angleberger Road and northbound Route 15. Troopers say she failed to stop for a Dodge Ram pickup truck traveling northbound along Route 15. Her vehicle entered the highway and was struck on the driver’s side door by the pickup operated by Jacob Lee Hanvey,23, of Emmitsburg..
Kinnamount was pronounced dead at the scene. Hanvey was taken by ambulance to Frederick Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
