Smithsburg, Md (KM) Two women were medivaced Wednesday afternoon following a vehicle crash along Route 77 (Foxville Road) at the South Mountain Rod and Gun Club near Smithsburg..
State Police in Washington County say a Chevrolet Cruze operated by Daniel McDougal, 51, of Smithsburg, was traveling westbound on Foxville Road when his vehicle crossed the yellow lines into the eastbound lanes. It struck a Dodge Charger driven by Deborah Everly, 53, of Gerrardstown, West Virginia.
She and her daughter, Alyssa Everly, 26, also of Gerrardstown, who was a passenger, were flown to Shock Trauma.
Troopers say McDougal was released from the scene.
