Man tried to flee when police served search warrant
Frederick, Md. (DG) – A Frederick man was arrested on drug charges after an investigation involving several police agencies.
The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office, Maryland State Police, Frederick Police, and Brunswick Police executed a search and seizure warrant in the 100 block of James Street in Frederick on Monday.
During the search operation, 35-year-old George Pacheco, tried to flee on foot. He was quickly taken into custody.
Police seized 26 grams of cocaine, 3 grams of marijuana, and $3,449.00 in cash.
The search was the result of a drug distribution investigation.
Pacheco was charged with possession of cocaine, distribution of cocaine, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of paraphernalia, and possession with intent to distribute cocaine within 1000 feet of school.
