Man, Son, Injured In One-Vehicle Crash In Washington County

The son was flown to Children’s National Medical Center.

 

 

Hagerstown, Md (KM) A man and his son were seriously injured in a one-vehicle crash in Washington County Monday night.

State Police say at around 10:30 PM, troopers from the Hagerstown Barrack responded to the westbound lanes of Interstate 70 near Bower Avenue for the accident. They found a Hyundai Santa Fe located in the center median with considerable damage, as well as the driver identified as Gregory Lee Ehabe, 27, of Hagerstown, and his juvenile son. Both were taken to Meritus Medical Center for treatment. The boy was later flown to Children’s National Medical Center in Washington D.C. .

State Police say they spoke with witnessed and collected evidence at the scene.  Both indicate that  the Hyundai was traveling west on I-70 when it went into the center median and collided with a culvert.

Troopers say the investigation is continuing. They also say driver impairment and speed are considered possible causes of this collision.
