Sheriff’s Office has charged a Va. man.
Frederick, Md (KM) A Winchester, Virginia man faces charges in Maryland. The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office says an arrest warrant has been issued for Lamuel Lee Roberts, 31, charging him with 1st-degree murder.
Early Saturday morning at around 2:00, authorities responded to the intersection of English Muffin Court and English Muffin Way for an individual laying in the roadway. Investigators say it was a woman identified as Kaitlin Nichole Roberts, 31, also of Winchester, Virginia. They say she had signs of injury and was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS personnel.
Her body was taken to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
Kaitlin Roberts is a graduate of Linganore High in Frederick County.
The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office says it’s working with the Sheriff’s Department in Winchester, Virginia in this investigation.
