Four People Arrested For Robbing Verizon Store In Thurmont

They were apprehended in Pennsylvania.

 

Thurmont, Md (KM) Four individuals who are charged with robbing the Verizon store in Thurmont Wednesday night were arrested in Pennsylvania.

Thurmont Police say a woman entered the store and then left as three Hispanic men came in, forcing the employee at gunpoint to get on the floor. The three then filled two suitcases with  merchandise and left the store.

The employee then called 911, and gave police a description of the suspects and their vehicle, which was spotted by a Frederick County Sheriff’s Deputy traveling northbound on Route 15 at a high rate of speed. Pennsylvania State Police were contacted.

Authorities say they were able to locate the suspects because of one them placed a security tracker in one of the suitcases, and Frederick County dispatchers were able to inform police in Pennsylvania as the whereabouts of the suspects.

Their car was abandoned in Upper Allen Township. Authorities found the four suspects after conducting a search of the area. They’re identified as

Andri A. Delacruzcruz, age 20, New York, NY
Angel Nestor Collazo, age 20, Bronx, NY
Noah Pablo Zayas, age 38, Bronx, NY
Luis J. Filpo, age 20, Manhattan, NY

All three are charged with two counts each armed robbery and robbery, and one count of theft between  $1500 and $25000, and 2nd-degree assault

Thurmont Police say they’ve secured arrest warrants for these suspects, who are awaiting extradition.
