Washington County Reports Their First Case Of Coronavirus

Officials say it’s a woman in her 50’s showing mild symptoms

Hagerstown, Md. (DG) – Washington County has it’s first case of the coronavirus.

At Meritus Medical Center on Saturday, Washington County officials announced the area has its first confirmed case of COVID-19.

The individual is a woman in her 50’s who is currently in good condition. She is isolating at home and showing mild symptoms.

Meritus currently has one drive-through testing center behind their medical plaza located at 13620 Crayton Blvd., it is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. They are planning on opening two more drive-through testing centers soon.
