Fire Heavily Damages Wooden Shed In Manchester

Cause remains under investigation.

 

 

Manchester, Md (KM)  Damage from a shed fire in Manchester in Carroll County Sunday evening is  extensive. .

The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says shortly before 6:30 PM, fire fighters responded to the 1300 block of Sullivan Road for a wooden shed on fire. It took them ten-minutes to bring the flames under control. No one was injured.

Authorities say damage to the 30-foot by 65-foot wood shed is estimated at $30,000 to the structure, and $10,000 to the contents.

Officials says the fire originated in the interior of the shed. The cause remains under investigation.
