Over 8,900 Coronavirus Cases In Maryland

262 people have died from COVID-19 in Maryland.


Frederick, Md. (DG) – The Maryland State Health Department is reporting 8,936 cases of the coronavirus in the state.

There have been 42,815 negative tests in Maryland, 262 deaths, and 1,975 hospitalizations.

Frederick County has 417 cases of COVID-19. Twenty-eight people have been hospitalized with the virus, and eleven people have died.

Washington County has 93 positive cases, Carroll County 250, Howard County 386, and Montgomery County 1,756.

Pennsylvania has 22,833 cases of COVID-19 with 48 in Adams County, and 64 in Franklin County.

There are 5,274 cases in Virginia with 309 in Loudoun County.

West Virginia is reporting 16,124 residents have been tested for the coronavirus, 593 are positive. There are 49 cases in Jefferson County, and 92 in Berkeley County.
