Over 34,000 Coronavirus Cases Reported In Maryland

Frederick, Md. (DG) – The Maryland Department of Health is reporting 34,061 cases of coronavirus in the state.

There have been 135,442 negative tests and 1,643 deaths. There are currently 1,563 hospitalizations, including 973 in acute care and 590 in intensive care. There have been 2,394 people released from isolation.

Frederick County has 1,300 cases of COVID-19, and 81 people have died. The number of people ever hospitalized with COVID-19 is 92, and 584 have been released from isolation.

Pennsylvania has 57,154 cases of COVID-19 with 167 in Adams County, and 513 in Franklin County.

West Virginia is reporting 1,371 positive cases of COVID-19. There are 88 cases in Jefferson County, and 191 in Berkeley County.
