Hagerstown Police Apprehend Two Teenagers In Sunday Shooting

Both are charged as adults.

 

Hagerstown, Md (KM) Two teenagers involved in a shooting on Sunday evening in Hagerstown have been arrested. Police report Ashmere Christopher Keyes and Caden Nasir Taylor have been taken into custody.

Both are 16-years old, and are charged as adults with attempted 1st- and 2nd-degree murder, 1st- and 2nd-degree assault, armed robbery and reckless endangerment. Taylor is also charged with weapons offenses.

The victim in this case is also a 16-year-old boy who was found shot in the abdomen in the 600 block of Church Street in Hagerstown. He was transported to Meritus Medical Center and later to Shock Trauma in Baltimore.
