Low & Moderate Income Families Eligible For Energy Home Improvements.

Individuals  can begin applying  now.

 

 

Frederick, Md (KM) Energy saving home improvements are available for low and moderate income residents in Frederick County.

The Office of Sustainability and Environmental Resources says funding through the Power Saver Retrofits Program will pay to have energy audits conducted, and energy efficient home improvements to be made. The improvements are funded through a $155, 984 grant from the Maryland Energy Administration.

Homeowners can apply now although the program doesn’t start until  July first.

In order to qualify, households must meet income requirements equal to $57,750 dollars for a one-person home, or $82,500  dollars for a four-person household.
