Police are trying to determine his identity.
Rockville, Md (KM) Montgomery County Police are trying to determine the identity of a man found decreased in the Potomac River on Tuesday evening.
Just after 7:00 PM, a resident who was kayaking on the river called 911 to report a dead person in the Wet Bottom area near Great Falls. Fire and rescue and Montgomery County Police responded to the scene, and pulled the man out of the water.
Investigators say they are unable to identity him as he does not match anyone reported missing in Montgomery County. But they say he is a male of Indian or Pakistani descent in his mid-30’s. He’s about 5’8″. and weighs about 207 pounds.
The man’s body was taken to the State Medical Examiner for an autopsy.
