Vehicles In Frederick Damaged By Gunfire

Police are investigating.                                                                                                                                             

 

Frederick, Md (KM) Frederick Police are investigating an incident where a citizen’s car was hit by gunfire.

Officers, detectives and a crime scene technician responded to the 100 block of Willowdale Drive Wednesday morning to conduct an investigation.  They  learned two cars were hit by gunfire.

Evidence was collected at the scene, and interviews were conducted with residents in the area. Based on the information from citizens, authorities say it appears the shootings occurred during the evening of Tuesday, September 22nd. Police say they received no calls about firearms discharges and suspicious activity in that area during that time.

Officers say there will be frequent patrol checks in the area.

Citizens are encouraged to contact police if they notice any suspicious activity, including sounds that might be gunfire.
