Md Board of Elections says 87% of mail-in ballots have been returned.
Annapolis, Md (KM) Mail-in ballots from the November 3rd general election are still coming in to local Boards of Elections in Maryland.
The State Board of Elections says so far 87% of the mail-in ballots requested by voters have been returned. which represents an increase from 77.5% in 2018. and 78.6% 2016.
Since November 5th , there have been 1,474,963 mail-in ballots received by local Boards of Elections, with 559.778 remaining to be counted, according to the State Board of Elections. .
In Frederick County, 61,019 ballots have been received as of November 5th with 18,386 left to be counted.
The State Elections Board says mail-in ballots received by November 13th with a postmarked of November 3rd or earlier will be counted in the 2020 presidential race.
