One Man Flown Out Following Crash In Carroll County

Authorities say his injuries are life-threatening.

 

 

 

 

 

Manchester, Md (KM) A 20-year-old Westminster man was seriously injured following a vehicle crash just before midnight on Tuesday  in the Manchester area.

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office says deputies and fire and rescue personnel were dispatched to Bachmans Valley Road near Danlyn Drive for a

one-vehicle crash. The 20-year-old man was the driver of a Subaru Outback which left the roadway, struck a telephone pole and overturned. The operator was ejected.. He was medevaced to Shock Trauma in Baltimore with life-threatening injuries.

A 22-year-old man who was a passenger in the vehicle suffered non-life threatening injuries, and was taken to York Hospital.
