Frederick County Public Schools’ Meal Distribution To Change During Winter Break

Citizens can pick up five days worth of food in one visit.                                                                            

 

 

Frederick, Md (KM) The meal distribution schedule for Frederick County Public Schools will a little different during the December 23rd through January 4th Winter Break.

Officials say all schools and community locations will distribute five days worth of to-go breakfasts, lunches and dinners from Wednesday, December 23rd through Sunday, December 27th. The hours will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.. A limited number of locations will serve two-days worth of food from Monday, December 28th through Tuesday, December 29th between 10:00 AM and 100 PM  Other locations will provide five days worth of meals from Wednesday, December 30th to Sunday, January 3rd, also from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM P-M.

The locations which will serve meals from Monday, December 28th to Wednesday, December 30rh are:

Ballenger Creek Elementary
Brunswick Elementary
Butterfly Ridge Elementary
Centerville Elementary
Crestwood Middle
Deer Crossing Elementary
Governor Thomas Johnson High
Lincoln Elementary
Middletown High
Monocacy Elementary
Myersville Elementary
North Frederick Elementary
Spring Ridge Elementary
Sugarloaf Elementary
Thurmont Middle
Walkersville High
Waverley Elementary
Whittier Elementary
Windsor Knolls Middle

Meal distributions will go back to their normal schedule on Monday, January 4th.

The School System says children do not need to be enrolled in any of the listed schools to participate. Any child 18-years of age and younger can pick up these meals at any location.. Adults can also pick up meals for a child.

Frederick County Public Schools will serve adults  enrolled in an educational program for persons with disabilities. .
