It was closed after a portal was damaged by a vehicle.
Thurmont, Md (KM) Roddy Road near the covered bridge in the Thurmont area was reopened on Friday.
The road was closed on Thursday after a height detection portal north of the span was damaged by a vehicle. The portal is designed to prevent over-sized vehicles from driving into the covered bridge.
The Frederick County Division of Public Works says crews were able to repair the portal. and reopen the road on Friday.
The historic covered bridge was not damaged.
