Frederick, MD (KM) The free meals program will resume next Tuesday, February 16th, as Frederick County Public Schools reopen for hybrid learning.

Officials say students in Cohort A will receive free breakfasts and lunches Mondays and Tuesdays, and those in Cohort B will get their free meals on Thursdays and Fridays.

Meals will be individually wrapped or compartmentalized.

Students can also pick up free to-go suppers on the same days.

FCPS says families who want meals on the days when their students are not in school buildings should pick up extra meals on the same days their children are attending classes.

Families can also visit one of the open community sites on Wednesdays and Fridays from 11am until 1pm. This will begin on Wednesday, February 17th, at the following schools:

Elementary Schools: Ballenger Creek, Brunswick, Butterfly Ridge, Centerville, Deer Crossing, Emmitsburg, Hillcrest, Liberty, Lincoln, Monocacy, Myersville, New Market, Oakdale, Spring Ridge, Sugarloaf, Twin Ridge, Waverly, Whittier

Middle Schools: Thurmont, Windsor Knolls

High Schools: Gov. Thomas Johnson, Middletown, Walkersville

Children do not have to be present to puck up meals on Wednesdays and Fridays.

The child does not have to be enrolled at the school.
