46-year-old man killed after being thrown from motorcycle
Frederick, Md.. (DG) – A 46-year-old Thurmont man was killed in a motorcycle accident on July 4th in Frederick County.
The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 8400 block of Blacks Mill Road at 6 p.m. for an accident involving a motorcycle.
A preliminary investigation revealed Mark Krebs was operating a 2006 Honda motorcycle when it traveled off the right side of the road and overturned. Krebs suffered fatal injuries after striking the ground.
A passenger on the motorcycle was transported to Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown with non-life threatening injuries.
